An inner city studio converted from an old stable in the mid 90s is updated to increase natural light and create a bright space. To minimise structural changes, existing openings were replaced with simple windows and the interior painted pure white. A large (3.6x2m) glazed pivot door opens effortlessly onto the rear courtyard and immediately establishes a strong connection with the small courtyard garden
